Premium Chair
by Zachary WhelanAs many say in their own reviews, the Icon and other chairs from Noblechairs are very firm. For me, this is a non-issue. I find the seat itself firm and supporting. If a chair is too soft, it may wear out faster. I'm 5' 10 and the chair is pretty perfect for my size height wise. Width wise, along with how I image the smaller Epic and larger Hero to be, it is quite wide, accommodating to larger builds. The issue that I'm finding to be the most problematic is the recline feature. The bottom of the back piece is rubbing against the leather at the back of the seat which creates a loud rubbing sound which I fear may damage the product over time. I also find the back panel rather flat which can cause back pain if I notice my lower back arching. The pillow helps but needs to be broken in a little to suit the shape of your posture. The reason why I haven't returned the product is because It so heavy to get upstairs all that effort would've gone to waste! Overall, It's a premium feeling chair that I'm happy to keep.
