The foundation of the EPIC Series from noblechairs is the powder-coated wheelbase made from solid aluminum with five arms and specially designed castors. These 60 mm castors consist of a Nylon core with a polyurethane coating that allows them to be quiet and suited for hard and soft flooring. Combined with the Safety Class 4 gas lift, the EPIC has been designed in conjunction with the optimized base to offer support for a maximum load of up to 120 kg (265 lbs).

Es wurde beriets sehr viel über den Stuhl geschrieben. Den guten Rezensionen kann ich mich anschließen. Saubere Verarbeitung. Montage alleine möglich. Dauert nicht sehr lange, da einiges vormontiert ist. Harte Sitzfläche. Wer das nicht mag, kann sich immer noch ein Kissen unterlegen. Ein wichtiger Grund für den Kauf waren die Stützkissen. Ich hatte einen Bandscheibenvorfall in der Lendenwirbelsäule. Das Lendenkissen stützt diesen Bereich sehr gut. Ich versinke somit nicht im Stuhl bzw. drücke die LWS nicht nach hinten. Die Rollen funktionieren auf einem PVC Bodenbelag problemlos. Kein stottern, kein ruckeln. Der Boden wurde in der bisherigen kurzen Nutzungsphase nicht beschädigt. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Sitzhöhe. Mit 176cm bin ich nicht der Größte. Es reicht geradeso, um mit den Fußsohlen auf den Boden zu kommen. Es gibt zwar eine kürzere Gasfeder, die man aber separat nachkaufen muss. Kleine Menschen haben aufgrund ihrer Größe den Nachteil mehr Geld ausgeben zu müssen. Besser fände ich, wenn es schon beim Kauf die Auswahl gebe, ein Modell mit kurzer oder langer Gasfeder zu bestellen. Der zweite Kritikpunkt, zumindest bei der PU Variante, ist die Geruchsausdünstig. Ich nutze den Stuhl in einem Kellerzimmer mit kleinen Fenstern. Es hat schon ein paar Tage gedauert, ehe der Geruch verflogen ist. Immerhin ist er verflogen :) Kaufen würde ich ihn auf jeden Fall wieder. Meiner Meinung nach ist er das Geld definitiv wert.
Nachdem wir jahrelang immer die Billigstühle vom örtlichen Möbelgeschäft gekauft haben und diese regelmässig nach 1 bis 1 1/2 Jahren kaputt gingen (abgebrochene Lehnen, Druckfeder kaputt, lautes Knartschen der einzelnen Teile), haben meine Frau und ich uns entschlossen diesmal mehr Geld zu investieren.Ich habe diesen Stuhl zweimal bestellt. Beim ersten Mal war der Stuhl einwandfrei. Beim zweiten war ein mechanisches Teil kaputt, welches aber ohne grosse Probleme sofort ersetzt wurde. Der Stuhl war aber ansonsten vollkommen in Ordnung. Mittlerweile bin ich total begeistert. Allein beim Sitzen merkt man schon den Unterschied zu den Billigprodukten. Alles ist recht stabil und die Mechanik läuft ganz locker, ohne das irgendwas knartscht. Bevor man jedes Jahr irgendeinen Billigstuhl für 80 Euro kauft, sollte man das Geld wirklich in einen teuren Stuhl investieren. Vor allem, wenn man täglich drauf sitzt.
